During 2008 John presented “The Lady Dressed In Red” an exhibition of pictures and poems at The Poetry Café in London. For approximately 9 months in preparation, he collaborated with 7 poets selected from Tall Lighthouse, Rockingham Press, Waterloo Press and Farrago Poetry. This artistic challenge inspired his writing and in May 2009 he was selected for the Survivors` Poetry Mentoring Scheme and is now working on the publication of his first full collection of poems.
